We at Capitol Hill Books believe that community service is not simply something we choose to do for our neighbors, but a responsibility we carry everyday. And we take our responsibility seriously.
Being situated in the heart of Capitol Hill, Denver's most diverse, eclectic, and "alive" neighborhood, Capitol Hill Books takes the pulse of the city, everyday. As such, we are determined to play a positive and important role in supporting a thriving community for our neighbors, residents and businesses alike. People from all walks of life are welcome in our store. Nobody is a "second-class" customer in Capitol Hill Books.
We demonstrate our neighborliness, in part, by supporting many groups and organizations in need of assistance. We receive countless solicitations for donations and are usually able to fulfill them with either books or gift certificates. We believe in supporting worthy organizations both near and far, as a way to say "thank you" to our loyal customer's support over the years. Some of the organizations we have assisted include:

American Friend's Service
Colorado Department of Health's KIND Program (Kids in Need of Dentistry)
