Although we no longer purchase books for cash, we are happy to consider quality books (ones you didn't find in the alley) for trade credit according to the following limitations:

1. Only Monday through Saturday between 11AM & 5PM.

2. One box/bag or fewer--we can usually accomodate this many books without an appointment.

3. Have more than one box/bag? Please call ahead for an appointment.

4. We do not have sufficient staff to consider books for trade on Sunday.




Other guidelines:

As a rule, we take books for trade from most sources on almost any subect. Below is a list of our basic needs.

Travel books (guidebooks no older than 3 years, memoirs, foreign language dictionaries)
Science Fiction
Mysteries (no hardcover)
Fiction
Art/Architecture/Craft Books
Biographies (Political, Musical, etc.)
Westerns
True Crime
Philosophy (Western and Eastern)
Metaphysics
History (American, World, etc.)
War
Religion (Western and Eastern)
Children's Books
Humor/Humorists

Although we try to be accommodating, there are some things we don't purchase.

Book of the Month Club
Audio tapes
Auto Repair manuals
Computer Books
Romance
Men's Adventure (numbered series)
Textbooks
Ex-Library Books
Reader's Digest Condensed
Magazines
Books in poor condition(no highlighting/underlining etc).
